July 4th Parade

Attendance: thousands!
What a great turn-out! We had over 15 EVs participate in the largest California 4th of July parade in Alameda. Due to the theme of the parade, our vehicles ended up being in the front of the parade transporting dignitaries and parade sponsors. It was great to provide visible evidence that there are vehicles focused on "clean & green" transportation.

The parade committee created a special award for future years titled the "Mayor's Green and Clean Award". The East Bay Electric Auto Association is the first recipient of this new award. So, after 6 years of parade participation, we have a trophy.
