Annual East Bay Display & Ride-Along

Our Annual East Bay Display and Ride-Along in Pleasant Hill / Concord is at hand - spring time and Earthdays. The focus is to display the variety of EVs members have and to provide real time riding experiences. Not too many cars, but lots of interest all day.

Students from the local Elementary, Middle, and High Schools attended all day. The photo was taken during one of the few "quiet" periods in the day.

The DVC Earth Day event also feature the vegetable oil powered bus (www.biotour.org) and displays from Chevron Energy, PG&E, and several local environmental organizations.

One of the unusual EVs was the BugE, driven by one of our new members.

EV charging available (110vac and 220vac) was available at the Alternative Energy center at DVC.
