Paul Cooper opened the meeting and shared a couple of copies of the EAA Rally / Event Coordination workbooks with Lou MacMillan, and Doug Coffman. We are looking to confirm people for the roles as the Chapter's Event coordinator and event master. Lou and Doug stepped for forward and are willing to help

Lou gave a review of what he found researching lithium battery suppliers. In general he found that they were too expensive to be unreliable sources. Paul reviewed his personal meeting with Battery Space with Michael and Xiaoping Jinag after last month. Paul is still considering a lithium pack of Thundersky batteries for his Porsche. There was some additional discussion about large 3V cell battery vs. 1V small battery.

For the main feature, Brad Berman of told the story of his interest in green vehicle technology. This led to research that grew into his blog. Industry stories of struggling with battery technology, standard plug technology (J1772), battery leasing, battery swappping and other issues. Brad has added a page to his website about plug-in hybrid cars.

There was lively discussion and questions from the audience.
